About the role
Weblink is a 14-year-old studio pivoting hard into AI automation, and our content has to keep up. You'll write for the website, service and use-case pages, blog posts, case studies, and client deliverables — translating technical capability into language a non-technical buyer actually understands.
You'll work alongside our marketing, design, and engineering teams, and you'll own content from brief to publish in our CMS. We value a strong, human voice over keyword stuffing — but you'll also know how to make a page rank.
What you’ll do
- Write and edit website copy, service pages, blog posts, and case studies.
- Turn technical AI/automation and web concepts into clear, persuasive copy.
- Research topics and interview internal experts to get the details right.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices without sacrificing readability.
- Publish and structure content directly in our Payload CMS.
- Keep a consistent brand voice across every page and channel.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years writing marketing or B2B content (agency or in-house).
- Genuinely strong writing — clear, concise, and free of filler.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals (search intent, structure, internal linking).
- Able to grasp technical subjects quickly and explain them simply.
- Self-directed: you can take a brief and run with it.
Bonus points for
- Experience writing about AI, automation, SaaS, or web/software services.
- Comfort working in a headless CMS or markdown.
- Basic familiarity with analytics (GA4, Search Console) to judge what's working.
- A portfolio that shows range — long-form and punchy short-form.
